Its time for SHSU Parents' Association scholarship applications to be submitted!  Please remind your student that the deadline for both of the scholarships is February 22, 2008. 

At the November General Meeting a “Draw” scholarship program was approved.  To qualify for this scholarship your student need only fill out the brief attached form and submit it.  There are no GPA requirements.  Any student who has accumulated 12 SHSU credit hours and their parent is a member of the SHSU Parents’ Association is eligible for the $500 scholarship(s), but the application form MUST be submitted to be considered.  The scholarship recipient(s) will be drawn from the pool of applications submitted.  The draw scholarship application is attached.

Application deadline for the traditional $1,000 scholastic scholarships are also due February 22, 2008.  The application for these scholarships is located on the SHSU website.  These scholarships require a 3.0 GPA, completion of 12 SHSU credit hours, and require that their parent is a member of the SHSU Parents' Association.
