Rules That Apply to Our Regular Meetings:

1. Be courteous of others.

2. Do not abuse other members of the organization for any reason short of self-defense.

3. Read the constitution for the full list of rules.

4. If you bring in an anime to watch, it must be a legal copy. No fansubs or bootlegs allowed, no exceptions.

Rules Pertaining to Our Library:

1. All items are checked out for a period of one week.

2. You have to sign a form stating that you understand all these conditions:

• You can only borrow one item at a time, excluding Box sets.
• Should the item be damaged in any way, shape, or form you will be responsible for paying the full retail price, or buying the exact same item to replace the one that was damaged.
• Should you fail to abide by these rules membership will be revoked, and you WILL pay in full the retail value of the items borrowed.
• Should you fail to pay the retail value the University Police Department will be notified of your theft.

3. Only members who have paid the $5 dues per semester are eligible to rent anything out from us.

4. We accept donations to the library but they must be legal copies.

Rules Governing At-Convention Behavior:

If you are attending a convention with the Sam Houston Anime Society, you are attending it as a representative of this school. That means you must not only obey all local, state, and national laws, but you must also obey the rules that the school has set up governing student behavior as well as all of the rules the convention has.

1. No weapons are allowed in the convention areas. If you purchase a sword at the convention you must put it in your bags and not take it out for the entirety of the event.

2. No alcohol is allowed in rooms that are provided by the Sam Houston Anime Society. There will be no exceptions.

3. Sexual misconduct is strictly forbidden. There will be nothing of the sort allowed in our rooms.

4. Please keep in mind that you are representing our school. Do not behave in a manner that is shameful and/or embarrassing.

5. If you cannot follow these rules, you must attend the convention as a regular attendee.
