Condi Rice

The Political Science Junior Fellows attended a lecture featuring Condi Rice. Former President
George H. W. Bush introduced Secretary Rice. Ms. Rice was admitted to the University of Denver
at the age of 15 and earned her Ph.D. at the age of 23. She was Provost at Stanford in her 30s. She served in
the Bush Administration as the State Department's Russia expert during the fall of the Berlin Wall,
the topic of her speech on this occasion. The program promotes the organization's emphasis on education.
