Dana Andrews Film Festival
The Wynne Home
September 12th, 2009

The Dana Andrews Film Festival was planned and hosted by the Political Science Junior Fellows,
with assistance from the CHSS Ambassadors. Dana Andrews was a film star from
Huntsville, TX, and 2009 was his centenary. The major objective that the Junior Fellows
fulfilled was education, learning much more about films in the process of
organizing the event. But as a free event, the students also promoted public
service. The Friends of the Wynne and the CHSS Advisory Board helped
sponsor the event. Dr. Carl Rollyson, Andrews' biographer, flew in to speak at
the event.
