The Political Science Junior Fellows organization does its best to help each member fulfill his/her goals.  Some of our students wish to go
to law school, others hope to go into the work force, and others hope to go to graduate school.  Most of the Junior Fellows, and almost all of the
officers, have achieved their goals and have ended up in top governmental positions, solid law schools, and some of the best graduate schools in the country.  In its seven year existence, the Junior Fellows have had seven presidents.  Their names are in red.

Emily Johnson Johnson was President of the organization from 2005-2007, the longest serving President in organization history.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude, placing 4th in a class of 535 students.  She was admitted to the Bush School of Public Policy, and is now working for the Sunset Commission with the Texas Legislature as a Program Manager.  Ms. Johnson was voted the Outstanding student in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2007.
Rowdy Salazar Salazar was the second President of the organization, serving just before he graduated in 2007.  He graduated Cum Laude in 2007 and is now working for the City of Cedar Park, Texas.
Ademide Adedokun Adedokun was the third President of the organization, serving in the Spring and Summer of 2008, before interning in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill.  Ms. Adedokun recently graduated with her MPA at American University (14th ranked program in the country) while working for the Commandant's Staff with the U. S. Coast Guard.  Ms. Adedokun was voted the outstanding student in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2008.
Megan Bryant Bryant was the organization's fourth president, and was a member of the organization from 2008 through 2010.  She served as President from the fall of 2008 to the fall of 2009.  She was named the Outstanding female Junior at Sam Houston in 2009.  During her time at SHSU, she interned with the Bill Clinton Presidential Library, the City of Huntsville, and the Haney & Moorman Law Firm.  She is currently working at Jones & Walker Law Firm.
Daniel North Mr. North was a member from 2009 through his graduation in 2011.  He was President during the calendar year of 2010, before serving an internship with the Claire McCaskill for Senate Campaign.  Mr. North currently works as a Finance Assistant for the McCaskill for Senate campaign.
Dana Angello Ms. Angello was the organization's sixth president, serving in the spring of 2011.  She majored in political science and minored in sociology, while also interning for the City of Huntsville's Finance Department, the City of Levelland's Economic Development Corporation, and an SHSU Project Management Team.  Ms. Angello was accepted to the University of Missouri's Masters Program in Political Science, and she is currently i the midst of her 2nd year of studies.
Christian Bionat Mr. Bionat was the organization's eighth president, serving from 2011-2012. He majored in political science and minored in legal studies, while interning for Congressman Pete Olson, the Huntsville Cultural District, and serving as the Student Representative for the Sam Houston Memorial Museum Board. He is currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the Military, and is an Intelligence Officer with the 450th Chemical Battalion.
Amy Jacks Jacks was Vice President in 2007 before moving to Washington, DC, where she interned with political consultant Nancy Bocskor.  She turned that job into full-time employment with a consulting firm, before moving to a lobbying firm in the health-care industry.
Amy Kirker Kirker was Vice President in 2007 and graduated Cum Laude in December of that year.  She then moved to Washington, DC, where she found a job with Public Opinion Strategies, one of the three largest Republican consulting firms in the country.
Brandon Reese Reese served as Treasurer of the Junior Fellows in 2007.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 and worked as Congressman Kevin Brady's Huntsville Representative from 2008-2010.  He is now working on his JD at Texas Tech University.
Lacy True True served as Secretary of the Organization in 2007.  After graduating Cum Laude in the Fall of 2007, she took a position with a non-profit organization before moving into teaching. 
Blake Holub Holub served as Vice President of the Junior Fellows in 2008.  He graduated in 2008 and was accepted at Arizona State University's MPA program, one of the top 30 programs in the country.  After graduating in 2010, Holub moved to Washington, DC, where he works for the District.
Justin Veillon Veillon served as Vice President of the Junior Fellows in 2009.  After graduating Summa Cum Laude, he went to work for Congressman Kevin Brady, working as his Field Director in Orange and Huntsville, Texas, and is now working as the Legislative Correspondent in Washington, DC.
Amanda Carter Carter served as Secretary of the Organization in 2008.  After graduating in 2009, she was accepted into the MPA program at the University of North Texas, the number one program for City Management in the state.
Laken Jenkins Jenkins was the organization's Vice President from 2009-2010, graduating Summa Cum Laude--placing 1st out of 1,398 students.  She is currently working on her JD at South Texas University, where she placed in the top 15% following her first semester, and she is employed by Kilburn Law Firm as a Three L.
Cameron Goodman Mr. Goodman holds the record for the longest-serving member of the organization, serving from 2008-2011.  In his final year, Goodman served as secretary.  Following graduation, Goodman enrolled in the Bush School at Texas A & M, where he is currently working on his Masters degree.
Robert Loughran Mr. Loughran served as a Junior Fellow for two years, before graduating in December 2011.  He is now working at Connect 2 Texas, an educational consulting firm.
Justin Beiser Mr. Beiser served as Vice President of the Junior Fellows in the Spring of 2011, before graduating Cum Laude in May.  He interned with local attorney Tracy Sorensen, and is now a One L at Texas Tech Law.
