2009 Presidential Inauguration

Road Trip from Texas to Washington, D.C.

Junior Fellows traveled through ten states and visited two presidential libraries, various state capitals, five presidential homes, and saw monuments of the confederacy and that of the Civil Rights Movement. This combination of sites gave the Junior Fellows an in depth historical view for the inauguration of Barack Obama. On Tuesday, January 20, 2009, the Junior Fellows witnessed the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
