The Sam Houston State University Chapter of PRSSA strives for excellence in leadership, professional preparation and practical experience.  The SHSU chapter is evolving into a strong unit of PR students who work hard to make the chapter benefit their education and prepare them for their future.  Chapter members are serious about gaining practical experience and enhancing their understanding of public relations.

Although the chapter has remained a small group, BIG things DO get done.  PRSSA welcomes all journalism, public relations, business, marketing, communications and all other majors who are interested in the field of PR.  As a pre-professional society, PRSSA at SHSU tries to meet, interact and network with professionals in the field.  Join PRSSA to enhance your education and to prepare for your future.  The SHSU chapter of PRSSA is "Leadership and preparation for tomorrow, today."
