Welcome to NTSO, the Non-Traditional Student Organization at Sam Houston State University! Please send an email to org_ntso@shsu.edu before joining the listserv and/or if you wish to enroll and participate online through Blackboard. The email should include your full name, classification, email address, and phone number for the membership records.  We might contact you in the future to inquire about meeting times or to recruit volunteers for events. You can also socialize with other non-traditional students from SHSU online through the NTSO Facebook Group.

  This is a public mailing list that will inform you of NTSO news, regular meeting dates and times, and upcoming events; for casting votes during election time; and for conducting surveys. 

• Enroll and Participate through Blackboard - Login and Click on Courses Tab - Enter "Non-Traditional" as a Keyword in the "Course Search" to Find NTSO!

  We will be using Blackboard soon to hold live online meetings. There will also be regular meeting dates and times posted, news about upcoming events, minutes from the meetings, and multiple static forums that the non-traditional students can participate in. Be sure to register with Blackboard, and join NTSO online to build friendships.

  NTSO recently started a Facebook Group as another method for the non-traditional students at SHSU to know each other and to find new friends. Here is a link to Facebook where you can register and login. We hope to see you participating in an online discussion.
