Baig, MirzaMirza Zia-Ahmed Baig

Class of 2008

Major: Criminal Justice & Psychology

As one of the founders of this fraternity before it even registered as an interest group with the university, Zia served as High Sigma (scholastic chair) and contributed greatly to its colonization. His best work with this fraternity has been a general mediator among friends who, above all negativity of life, always stressed utmost unity among brothers and friends and promoted tolerance and reconciliation. He is still our 'go to guy' for general advice in life. Additionally he has served our chapter as the High Phi (ritualist) and led the initiation of the Alpha Class of associate members.

Zia is a very open person and enjoys all the great things the world has to offer. He likes all kinds of music, food, cultures, and sports among others. I was born in Houston, raised in Brenham, and now back in Houston taking a few last courses before his graduation.

"Long story short, I work hard, play harder, and just enjoy life and what comes with it."
