What exactly is…?
Krimson Kourt, Incorporated (K.K.I.) is a social sorority on the Sam Houston State University campus. We promote unity among all student organizations.  K.K.I. and K.K.I. members are “Ladies of High Quality and Standards,” we are all about academics, unity, as well as sisterhood.

What are the requirements…?
You must be a:

- No person shall be considered for membership whose known conduct deviates unfavorably from prevailing standards of moral character.

- Must reflect a high measure in academics campus involvement, work experience, community involvement, interpersonal skills, and communication.

Do You…?
No we do not have brothers, but we do have a closely woven relationship with the Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated!!! Due to directives sent down from the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Undergraduate Chapters were instructed to disband their little sister organizations. This left the members of the former Sweethearts without the direction of the local chapter of which they were affiliated with. To fill the void and provide direction for themselves these women started the organizations that were controlled and directed solely by themselves. Because the majority of the members were former Sweethearts there still existed a close association with the members of Kappa Alpha Psi. These organizations took various names the most commonly known are, Kappa Kourts Inc., Krimson Kourts Inc. and Pretty Girls Inc.

Who are…?
If you are wondering who are the Fall 2004 officers, they are:

-Katrice Harrison (Fall 2003)
-Angela Green., Vice President (Spring 2004)
- Joy H., Secretary (Spring 2004)

What are …?
You see different people join sororities for different reasons.  Sisterhood is usually the main objective.  However, like fingerprints…attitudes, personalities and thresholds amongst women and men differ.  Some women do not feel they need or even want to join a sorority, for whatever personal reason she may have, she has that right.  Others however, may join an organization like K.K.I. to possibly familiarize themselves and get prepared for joining other sororities such as AKA, DST,  Z Phi B, and SGR.  You can see K.K.I. as a preparation organization.  K.K.I. operates on near identical business standards as other sororities do. The transition may be easier and more beneficial to her and the sorority she chooses to join.
