Scholarship Fund

The Esquire/Delta Tau Delta Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 at Sam Houston State University. The purpose of the endowment is to memorialize deceased - and honor living - Esquires and Delts, and to provide scholarship assistance for worthy Delta Tau Delta students. The Esquire Men's Social Club, the first men's social club at Sam Houston, was founded in 1938. The Esquires became the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta when the group recieved its charter on January 9,1960.

The endowment scholarship fund was established by a charter member of the EZ chapter of Delta Tau Delta. Matching corporate gifts are welcome and have been recieved along with other gifts. The permanent endowment fund is well on its way to reaching its principal target.

Contributions to the fund are appreciated atany time, and may be mailed to Sam Houston State University, Office of University relations and Development, P O Box 2419, Huntsville,TX 77341, with a note designating the gift for the Esquire/Delta Tau Delta Endowed Scholarship Fund. Donations to the endowment fund are tax deductible and are a meaningful way to honor friends and family, or to provide memorial tributes. The Development Office receipts to all donors, and in the case of memorial gifts, provides appropriate notification to the families of the deceased.
