Application Process

Completed applications must be turned in to Project CONNECT by the 12th class day of the semester in order to be considered for that semester. You can look up the 12th class days on the SHSU Academic Calendar. Applications received after the 12th class day will be held until the next semester.

The number of openings we have to fill fluctuates each semester depending on our graduation, transfer, and withdrawal rates from the year before. If you are interested in joining Project CONNECT, please read the Eligibility page before filling out an application.


2014-2015 Deadlines

To be considered for the fall 2014 semester, Project CONNECT must have your completed application by Friday, September 12, 2014.

To be considered for the spring 2015 semester, Project CONNECT must have your completed application by Friday, January 30, 2015.



After the 12th class day, qualified applicants will be invited to come in for an interview with Project CONNECT staff.


Acceptance Letter

Students who have been accepted into Project CONNECT will receive an acceptance letter and email (sent to their SHSU email address). Students are then able to use Project CONNECT's services.
