I'm very grateful for the opportunies to learn about living the life of a Christian that being a part of the Student Center has given to me. Normally, I really prefer to keep to myself, especially in a social setting where I'm surrounded by people I don't know that well. Being a part of the Student Center has allowed me to continuously get out of my comfort zone and thereby expand it, and my confidence has grown so much as a result of that experience.

Being away from home in a town where I knew noone was at first scary. Everyone at the Huntsville CofC was so open and friendly. I believe it is a great place to make a church home and the college group is awesome....It's a great place to worship our God!

One of the scariest things about going off to college is being on your own. Thank you so much for your church and the Student Center, because the moment I walked in I knew I wouldn't have to worry about being alone. It is also a wonderful place to bring friends. Thanks.

I come from a very loving and accepting Church full of hugs and hellos everytime I step into the building. Its hard to leave that kind of Church family; however, the transfer was made easy due to the accepting and loving nature of the Huntsville CofC. As for the Student Center, I list its phone number as one of my home numbers. I believe that I am still at Sam Houston and I am the person I am right now because of the support of the Student Center.

Being a part of the Student Center has really helped me spiritually. Being a Christian in today's society is really tough with all of the choices people in college have to deal with. The friendships here make the choices a little bit easier; and when mistakes are made, they are here to help any way they can. Thanks so much for everything.
