Ignite the Night Poster Making Project You are invited to make posters for Ignite the Night, an annual event held during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in which the community gathers for a rally and march in support of the victims of sexual assault. These posters will be held as participants march from the Old Main pit to City Hall in Downtown Huntsville. Join us on Thursday, April 16 from 1:00-3:00 pm in LSC 321 to make a poster and support the victims of this silent crime.

Yom Ha'Shoah Holocaust Day of Remembrance Volunteers are needed to help read the names of Holocaust victims for the Yom Ha’Shoah Holocaust Day of Remembrance.  See the flyer for more details and for contact information for Dr. Doleshal, the professor arranging this project.

General Sam Houston Folk Festival   Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks, including selling and collecting tickets at the front and back gates; providing water and ice to festival demonstrators; assisting children with craft projects in the Children’s Tent; picking up trash; and guarding the museum’s resident ducks. We should have jobs to accommodate willing volunteers of most any age and physical ability, but please be aware that most volunteer work is outside in the sun.
