Improving the quality of life for walker county seniors.
Volunteer Opportunities: Help with Meals On Wheels Program to deliver hot meals to local senior citizens. Delivery routes are on Monday through Friday starting with mid-morning pick-up of meals and last around forty minutes. Volunteers can help with the Sit and Fit class, quilting, art projects, holiday cheer and monthly birthdays.

Mission/Purpose
To provide quality care to our residence, meeting all needs for comfort and assistance in later years of life when compassion is most needed.
Volunteer Opportunities: Help with music therapy, arts/crafts and Bible study. Also, assist with games such as Bingo, Lady Luck and Dominos, exercise, trivia, popcorn and a movie. Help with outings for shopping and nature or lunch.

The Friendship Center provides support, advocacy, and services to senior adults in Montgomery County, so that they may remain independent and vital members of our community.
Volunteer Opportunities: There are many opportunities available from Meals on Wheels to working directly with senior adults at one of our locations, to giving support and reassurance to seniors by telephone or helping at special events.
