Volunteer Opportunities: Assist club kids with homework, tutorials and pass out snacks. Also, assist with indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Hours of operation are 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Children's Safe Harbor

Children's Safe Harbor is a nationally accredited children's advocacy center whose mission is to protect and enhance the life of every child who has the courage to battle sexual and physical abuse. We serve children ages 2 to 17 in Montgomery, San Jacinto and Walker county.
Volunteer Opportunities: Family Service Volunteer is responsible for making the families feel comfortable and welcomed. Duties include maintaining the waiting room and assisting with locating information and educational materials pertaining to child abuse to distribute to families. Multidisciplinary Team Support Volunteer provides assistance to the professionals who work with Children's Safe Harbor. Duties include assisting with research, administrative duties, preparing meals/snacks and assisting with fundraising events. Special Project/Event Volunteer assists with special projects/events such as corporate/group service days, seasonal drives, community awareness/presentations and internships. All volunteers may be asked to perform duties not listed above if necessary.
