Mission/Purpose

To help people through beneficial contacts with companion, therapy animals and deliver quality animal-assisted activity and therapy programs, to unite people who have mental and physical disabilities and patients in healthcare facilities with professionally trained animals to help improve their health and to promote education to encourage a responsible relationship between people and pets.

Volunteer Opportunities: Assist at events and conduct book drives.

To provide education, training and events. Through our events we raise proceeds to give to local state and national organizations.

Volunteer Opportunities: Administrative help will include office work, computer skills and sales. Creative opportunities will include design and updates.

Upcoming Event: November 17th is the Fun Dog Show. Volunteer by being a judge, set up and take down, assist organization in various duties, clean-up and be a cashier.

Little Woman Home for Animals was established in 1999 as a sanctuary for animals that had special medical needs, unadoptable and/or have lost their habitat. Its a no-kill, nonprofit sanctuary.

Volunteer Opportunities: Help with construction work, caring for dogs and cats such as walking dogs and loving cats, computer work and general cleaning.
