Angelique is currently a senior at Sam Houston State University pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English. During her years at Sam, Angelique was the treasurer for the Fade to Black Dance Ensemble, and anchor for the Huntsville Channel 7 news team. She joined Alpha Kappa Alpha in the Fall of 2006 and since, she has held several office positions including secretary, and vice-president. Gabrielle plans to graduate in May of 2010 to then begin a career in the Forensics Investigation area of Criminal Justice. Being a military brat, Micahela has always loved Army life, and feels that the travel opportunities the military has provided to both herself and her family are immeasurable, providing her with a well-rounded outlook on life. She is planning to join the U.S. Air Force as a Visual Information Apprentice Officer upon graduation from college, which will one day lead her to her dream of having her own magazine that targets the growth of African-American women.

Dana is a non-traditional student who began attending SHSU in Fall 2004. Since her arrival, she has been a very active and involved woman on campus. She has been the vice president and president of Adopt-A-Heart, founded a mentoring program for the young female clients of SAAFE House, created and produced programs such as Diva: Celebrating 50 Years of Black Women in Music and State of the Black Student. One of Dana’s most crowning achievements while attending Sam Houston State was the opportunity to become a member of the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha. She plans to graduate in December 2007. Upon graduation, Dana and her daughter Devon are planning to relocate so that Dana can pursue her career of corporate communications. Jasmine Scott was born and raised in Houston, TX. She is a 21-year-old senior with a Fashion Merchandising major and a General Business minor.
