 | American
Advertising Federation
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) protects and promotes the
well-being of advertising. This is accomplished through a
unique, nationally coordinated grassroots network of advertisers, agencies,
media companies, local advertising clubs and college chapters.
The purpose of AAF is to bring its members together to yeild creative
business solutions, to educate members in the latest trends in technology,
creativity and marketing; and to promote volunteerism and leadership among
its members -- at every level.

 | The College Connection
AAF's college-chapter program has 260 affiliated chapters throughout the
United States and abroad. The program includes 6,000 undergraduate student
members and more than 250 faculty advisers.
AAF provides numerous programs to guide its college students through
advertising curriculum and job placement. AAF's programs include the
following:
 | More than 1,000 internship opportunities
| | Scholarships
| | Career guides
| | Industry mentors
| | Networking with top agency and corporate recruiters. |
AAF's
National Student Advertising Competition -- NSAC: College World Series of
Advertising is the premier college advertising competition. It provides more
than 3,000 college students with "real-world" experience by
requiring a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign for a corporate
sponsor. Fifteen schools are selected to present their campaigns to a panel
of industry executives at the AAF National Conference.

Sponsorships
Since Sound Advertising Minds is a non-profit student
organization, our funds and resources are extremely limited. We
participate in several competitions and workshops throughout the year and we
are solely responsible for all travel, supply, competition material, and
organizational expenses.
To help fund these expenses, AAF will be working hard through out the
year by having various fundraisers such as bake sales and concession stands
but this isn’t enough. We
need your help! Outside
sponsorships provide us with more time to devote to competitions and
research.
