Education:

2004 Ph.D. in Mathematics from New Mexico State University. Advisor Irena Swanson.
1999 M.A. in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. Advisor Bernd Sturmfels.
1995 B.S. cum laude in Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University. Mentors Herbert A. Medina and the late Michael R. Cullen.
1994 High school degree from Notre Dame High School, Talofofo, Guam. Mentors Lilee Cuff and the late Melvin Perry. I am a native Chamorro, born and raised in the island of Guam. I am the first Chamorro woman to receive her Ph.D. in pure mathematics. You can find out more information about this through the SACNAS Biography Project.
