HTML Homework

Create an HTML document that contains information about you as follows:

(NOTE: The information may be fictitious if you prefer not to put it on the web)

1. Your name, centered, bold. Be sure to also display your name in the title bar.

2. The statement “My Home Page”, centered italicized.

3. Draw a line across the page

4. Give the following information:

Your major

Your classification

Expected graduation date

5. Create a table listing all the MIS or similar courses you have or are taking. The table should have columns for course number, course name, and when taken.

6. Draw a line across the page

7. List you three favorite web sites and include a hypertext link to them.

The above information is the minimum required to satisfy the homework assignment, but please feel free to play with your site, adding information, pictures, graphics etc. It is YOUR home page – be proud of it.

8. What you turn in to me:

You can post this on your U drive and email me your URL, email me an HTML file with subject “John Doe (9:99 class) – HTML homework”, or give me a CD or flash memory stick with the HTML file on it. Be sure to properly label the disk with your name and class.

9. You are not to use a tool such as Dreamweaver, Front Page, Word, etc. You are to use the HTML coding tags we discussed in class.
