Dr. Lei Chen earned his B.Eng. in
Computer Science and Applications from Nanjing University of Technology
(Nanjing, Jiangsu, China) in 2000. He received Ph.D. in Computer Science
from Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama, USA) in August 2007. In the same
month he joined the Department of Computer Science at Sam Houston State
University (Hunstville, Texas, USA) as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Chen is
expected to become Associate Professor with tenure in August 2013.
As of Spring 2013, Dr. Chen has taught
18 different courses in Computer Science, Information Security and
Assurance, and Digital Forensics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
