The Kat Klub has undergone an amazing transformation over the past few months, and we are proud to be one of the best game rooms in the state. We offer students an array of items to pass the downtime between classes, hang out with friends or make new ones, and host an event for their organization.

Billiard Tables

If you're looking for a quick game of pool, the Kat Klub is the place for you. We have 8 full sized Gandy tables that are some of the best in town. Our tables are serviced often in order to provide the best playing surface, and our student staff takes pride in keeping our tables well maintained and clean; making the best tables for beginners or advanced players alike. Feel free to bring your own cue or check out one of ours behind the service desk, varying from 18oz to 21oz. No matter what your skill-level, we want you to see in here having a great time.

Video Gaming Stations

Recently launch, the Kat Klub has introduced a wide array of video games SHSU students can now enjoy. We have, in total, four Playstation 3 consoles, four Xbox 360 consoles, and two Nintendo Wiis. Two of the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles are wall-mounted to 4 3-D LED-LCD High Definition televisions, noticeable as soon as you walk in the main entrance of the Kat Klub. These are our primary consoles for everyday student use, and we invite you to come in and enjoy playing some of your favorite games.

Table Tennis *New*

The Kat Klub is proud to offer Sam Houston Students two of the best table tennis tables in the world. As used at Table Tennis Championship Tournaments around the world, Killerspin is the premere table for players of all skill. Simply come by the Kat Klub's front desk with your Sam I.D to begin enjoying these great new tables.

Shuffleboard *New*

Although this game has been entertaining fans for decades, shuffleboard is completely new to the Sam Houston State campus and we are proud to offer it in the Kat Klub.

Air Hockey

Enjoy some old school air hockey action with our air hockey machine located near the back of the Kat Klub by ping pong room. Swing by the Kat Klub's front desk and ask the attendant for pucks and paddles.

Table Soccer

Despite bringing in our new items, we have to have some classic game room cornerstones. Hang out and play a few games of foosball with our two tables located along the glass wall of the ping pong rooms.

Lounge Areas

Not much of a gamer? No problem! Feel free to come relax at our awesome lounge areas. I guarantee we have some of the biggest screens in town. Noticeable when you first walk into the Kat Klub, we added a projector to our oldest lounging area, offering a 13'x7' HD image of the latest sports and news. Not to be outdone, we added another lounging area near the pool tables where we have a 10'x6' video wall of nine 40" LCD High Definition televisions. Mostly used for watching sports, both of these screens are connected to both a Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming console, creating the ultimate experience for gaming.

TV Room

Want a little more privacy? We can offer that as well. The Kat Klub has a TV room we offer SHSU students to reserve to give them or their group away from the everyday hustle of the Kat Klub. The TV room comes equipped with couches, a coffee table, and a 40" plasma TV. Stop by the Kat Klub's front desk and talk to the attendant about reserving the TV room. *maximum 2 hour reservation*

Coming soon: Skype will soon be added to the TV room for students to utilize.

Computer Stations

Need to stop somewhere for a quick fix on your paper, check your social networking sites, or print off notes before class? Swing by the Kat Klub where we have 7 general use PC's and a networked printer in the Kat Klub for students to utilize.
