Grant Project Director's Responsibilities

Establish and maintain contact with the coordinator
of grants development and management.

Understand and disseminate to project participants
the specifics of project activities and budget.

Review the funder's award notice and conditions and
disseminate to all project personnel.

Receive and sign grant award or agreement.

Review and disseminate to project participants the
school district's procedures and policies
regarding grant-funded projects.

Supervise project operation.

Monitor personnel charged to the grant.
-
Monitor project activities and see that they stay
on schedule.

Monitor and adhere to the project budget.
-
Check and maintain documentation on all budget expenditures.

Set up a records system to document expenditures,
timeline and completion of activities.
-
Submit budget revisions to the district and to the
funder, and maintain documentation of all
budget revisions.

Document matching funds.

Submit, in a timely manner, periodic evaluations,
progress reports and forms required by the
funder.

Maintain all essential documents in a file.
-
Know district and funder regulations that affct the
project.

Know property management requirements and oversee
all property records.
-
Know the definitions, descriptions, and location
of grant-funded equipment and supplies.

Monitor inventory.
