Second Language Acquisition
Class Meeting
Date

Introduction

This chapter continues with language acquisition, discussing. Second Language Acquisition. The chapter goes over the study of a second language including the role of first and second languages.  Grammar is major part of the chapter.  What is acquired when learning the phonology, morphology and syntax of a second language?  As people learn a second language they do make errors, but these decrease as the second language is acquired.  There are factors that affect the acquisition of language.  Such as age, individual differences and the ability to be a good language learner.  The L2 classroom and Bilingual education are discussed. This is a very important chapter. Each of us has a first language, and many have a second language. This chapter focuses on how language is acquired or learned.
