Deck the Halls Project

The Operations Management faculty at Sam Houston State University were invited to work on a project in conjunction with Baylor University and Ohio University. The objective was to track the traffic flow of the Deck the Halls event and identify the most popular booths using RFID. The project was a success gathering almost 90,000 points of data for analysis. Baylor University business students are currently analyzing the data and crafting a report for the Junior League of Waco.

The lab has been a resource for several ideas and projects related to research. Following are the results of the recent inspiration provided by the Sower Business Technology Lab.
