Vocational education certification is a curriculum designed for students with industrial work experience. Students in this option will teach at the high school or junior college level. Teachers conduct a pre-employment laboratory course where the content is related to their trade experience. Prospective T&I teachers wishing to complete a four year degree may be able to earn up to 30 semester hours of credit based upon their work experience.
