This program is available to SHSU Master of Library Science students and alumni only. Our department has offered this particular experience four times since 2000. Students eagerly await the opportunity to apply. Because our experiences are strictly designed for future school librarians, it is not extended to students from other departments. |

LSSL 5376: Field Research in Library Science |
| STUDENT REQUIREMENTS |
| The prerequisite for the course is a written research proposal in order to determine that the independent research in the candidate’s area of specialization is suitable. |
| HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS |
| Dr. Karin Perry is making the arrangements for accomodations in the student resident halls. |
| TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS |
| Being that the Library Science graduate students do not all live in the local community of Huntsville, students will be required to make their own independant flight arrangements. |
