| PROGRAM OVERVIEW |
The program consists of a 4-week course at the Universidad de Iberoamerica (UNIBE) in San Jose, Costa Rica. UNIBE is a private, non-profit university and has degree programs in four major areas: medicine, pharmacy, psychology, and nursing. Students will participate in a program in medicine and will gain hands-on experience in various healthcare clinics, as well as learn Spanish, including medical Spanish. Any student interested in a future career in health care/treating patients should consider taking this course. This course will provide students with experiences that can give them a competitive edge over other professional school applicants. |

| STUDENT REQUIREMENTS |
| Students must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5, Junior standing or higher, and permission of the instructor. There are no specific course pre-requisites. |
| HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS |
| Students will stay with a Costa Rican host family and UNIBE will provide transportation to and from the residences to the campus. |
| TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS |
| Students will be responsible for purchasing their own tickets independently. |

| $2950 |
Includes: Lodging, meals, in-country travel, site visits, health insurance.
