| PROGRAM OVERVIEW |
This course is designed to give you a first-hand experience of the economic, cultural and marketing environment of the United Arab Emirates, a part of the Gulf Cooperative Council.
Students will receive exposure to this important region of the global economy through lectures, site visits to both traditional and modern business sites, and visits showcasing the complex culture of the Middle-East. Based in Dubai, the course will also cover the neighboring Emirates. |

MKTG 4380: Business in the Middle East* * May be taken in lieu of MKTG/MGMT 4340 or as a Business elective. May also be taken for Graduate credit. |
| STUDENT REQUIREMENTS |
| Student must have completed MKTG 3310 (Principles of Marketing); Junior standing. |
| HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS |
| Arrangements will be made with the inputs and assistance of local contracts at the American University in Emirates and the American University of Sharjah. |
| TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS |
| Students will travel together on a group flight. |
