DEADLINES FOR GRADUATION Fall 2009

Fall 2009 Masters/Doctoral Degree Candidates

October 2, 2009
Last day to submit approved Thesis/Dissertation Prospectus to the Dean's Office.  

October 9, 2009

Submit draft thesis/dissertation (at least one full chapter) to Library for format and style review.

November 6, 2009
Last day for Thesis/Dissertation Defense.   Report of Thesis/Dissertation Examination form must be signed and submitted to the CHSS Dean's Office by 5:00 p.m.

November 18, 2009     
Last day to obtain signatures from the thesis/dissertation committee on the title page and abstract of the thesis/dissertation and signature of thesis/dissertation chair on route sheet. Submit route sheet and complete, defended and signed thesis/dissertation to the academic dean's office.

November 20, 2009
Last day to submit final thesis/dissertation (defended and signed) and Route Sheet to the Director of the Library.

November 25, 2009

Last day to make all final copies of thesis/dissertation and submit to the Library for binding.  Last day to submit Route Sheet to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

December 2, 2009

Last day to complete the Oral/Written Comprehensive Exams.  Report of Comprehensive Examination Form must be signed and submitted to the CHSS Dean’s Office by 5:00 p.m.

December 18 & 19, 2009

Commencement (Tentative)

December 21, 2009
All requirements for graduation (including grades) must be completed and processed through the Registrar's Office by 9:00 AM.
