Entranceway, Atrium Art Call (360)
We are seeking contemporary art proposals for purchase or donation to be displayed in the two main entranceways of the new College of Humanities and Social Science building. We would consider a variety of different pieces that could hang from the ceiling, on the walls or placed on the floors. Themes should be relevant to humanities and the social sciences and be consistent and cohere within each entranceway, but are open to interpretation. Submissions appropriate for one or both of the listed locations are welcomed. All media will be considered including: instillation, video, photography, painting, tapestry, and mobile and stationary sculpture. All accepted work must be original, no reproductions.

East Entrance 3 story atrium with stairways
Departments and Offices Art Call We are also seeking contemporary art proposals for purchase or donation to be displayed in the various offices and departments housed in the building. Themes should be relevant to the various departments listed below, but is open to interpretation. Submissions appropriate for one or more of the listed locations are welcomed.
Dean's Suite (360)
We would like a 48 X 60' (maximum) Mixed media canvas containing both
abstract and realistic images reflecting the humanities and social sciences. The logo of the college should be included. Other possible inclusions are degree plans, bluelines of the Humanities and Social Sciences building and academic department names.
Political Science (360)
We would like a 3' X 4' or 4' X 5' (maximum)
Department Artwork representing political science themes.
Psychology (360)
We would like a 3' X 4' or 4' X 5' (maximum) artwork representing
Department psychological and philosophical themes (i.e. artwork depicting human and/or animal figures, human thought, emotion, and/or behavior, interpersonal relationships, adaptations etc.
Sociology (360)
We would like a 3' X 4' or 4' X 5' (maximum)
Department Department of Sociology specializes in Globalization (the emergence and consequences of a global culture and behavior and global groups such as social movements, social institutions, immigration and its consequences, work, bureaucracy and corporations; social resistance); Social inequality (differences among groups n terms of race and ethnicity; gender and class) and Rural Life (rural communities; agriculture and food and the environment).

We would like a 4' X 5' (maximum) Artwork representing diverse people Academic Center (ethnicity, gender, age) enjoying learning/discussing
for Excellence
Student Advisement (360)
We would like a 3' X 4' or 4' X 5' (maximum)
Mentoring Artwork, photography, electronic art containing images or
Center abstractions of students, advisors, mentors etc.
Human Resources (360)
We would like one picture 3' x 4' or 4' x 5' no matting.
Purchasing (360)
We would like one picture 3' x 4' or 4' x 5' no matting.
Business Office (360)
We would like one to two pictures 3' x 4' or 4' x 5' no matting.
Payroll Selections (360)
We would like one picture 3' x 4' or 4' x 5' no matting.
Also hammered metal wall-decor if available.
