EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's degree in related field.  Two (2) years experience in a related area.  Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.

NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Oversee communication with alumni/prospects for online graduate programs.  Coordinate admission process for graduate students in the online programs.  Assist with marketing, website maintenance, and targeted mailings for online graduate programs.  Assist online graduate students with enrollment, managing the online system, and contacting financial aid.  May be responsible for work involving planning, directing, and supervising admissions and enrollment in online graduate programs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sends targeted e-mails and direct mailings to alumni/prospects and current online graduate students.  Creates postcards, brochures and other marketing materials to send to alumni/prospects for online graduate programs.  Designs and maintains website for online programs.  Maintains application materials for online graduate programs.  Answers and returns phone calls from prospective students and current students for the online graduate programs.  Assists students through the application and enrollment process.  Analyzes data and prepares reports.  Edits articles, checking contents, and form style.  Presents workshops regarding online programs.  Works with university marketing, academic colleges and departments, and distance education departments. Performs other related duties as assigned.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:

As may be required by online graduate programs.  Contacts involve other University departments, distance education, prospective students, state agencies, and advertising venues.
