EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related area. Four (4) years of experience in one or more areas of Human Resource Management. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To perform responsible management duties for assigned areas. Responsible for the administration of assigned personnel functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs complex and technical human resources staff work in the functional areas of wage and salary administration and special projects. Supervises support staff as assigned. May also work in employment, employee relations, benefits, records, employee training and development. Performs other related duties as assigned.
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:
Contacts include faculty, staff, students, and other University departments, vendors, and off campus agencies. Performs research and prepares analytical reports, and provides recommendations on assigned subjects.
