EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related area. Four (4) years of experience in one or more areas of Human Resource Management. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To perform responsible management duties for assigned areas. Responsible for the administration of assigned personnel functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs complex and technical human resources staff work in the functional areas of insurance, retirement, and other related benefits. Supervises a Human Resources Assistant and support staff as assigned. May also work in employment, salary administration, employee relations, records, employee training and development. Performs other related duties as assigned.
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:
Contacts include faculty, staff, students, and other University departments, vendors, and off campus agencies. Performs research and prepares analytical reports, and provides recommendations on assigned subjects.
