TITLE: Senior Human Resources Manager (Staffing and Employee Relations) HIRING SALARY: $3,846/Month

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related area.  Five (5) years of experience in one or more areas of Human Resource Management. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.

NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To perform responsible management duties for assigned areas, and serve as Senior Human Resources Manager for the University.  Responsible for the administration of assigned personnel functions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs complex and technical human resources staff work in the functional areas of employment, employee relations, EEO/AAP, worker's compensation, leave administration, unemployment, and other related areas. Supervises Human Resources Managers, Human Resources Assistants, and support staff as assigned. Serves as senior staff person in the absence of the Director and the Associate Director.  May also work with salary administration, benefits, records, employee training and development. Performs other related duties as assigned.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:

Contacts include faculty, staff, students, and other University departments, vendors, and off campus agencies.  Performs research and prepares analytical reports, and provides recommendations on assigned subjects.
