EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Requires two (2) years related work experience in an educational environment dealing with Greek life, programs, extra-curricular activities, promotions, or special events. Experience in Greek life at an institution of higher education is desired. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities
NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position may include one or more of the following areas of responsibilities: develop, implement, coordinate, maintain, and supervise a well-rounded Greek life program offered through the Dean of Students Office; and/or provide administrative leadership to the Greek leaders and organizations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May include but not limited to: To develop and coordinate services, programs, policies and procedures, related to Greek Life. To assist in the coordination of all brochures and publicity releases pertaining to special event programs with Greek life. Advise one or more of the Greek governing bodies. Ensure organizations and councils comply with University policies and procedures as well as their own. Serve as resource and administrative liaison to inter/national officers, chapter alumni advisor, local alumni/graduate chapters, chapter officers and members as well as the general University community on matters pertaining to Greek Life. Administrative responsibility includes scheduling, budgeting and budget control, artist contracting, training workshops, and meetings involving the Greek Life. Oversees administrative tasks necessary for the smooth, successful operation of Greek life events. Performs other related duties as assigned.
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:
Contacts with students, staff, faculty, administration, alumni, parents, corporate officials, public officials, and general public.
