EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Resources, or related field plus six (6) years experience in a technology administrative leadership role. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assist Associate Vice President for Information Resources (CIO) with daily operations and management tasks for the Department of Information Resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive level supervision and coordination of the departmental leaders of functions reporting to Information Resources. Serve as liaison between Associate Vice President for Information Resources (CIO) and leadership of department’s functional areas. Translate high-level executive goals and priorities, into daily task assignments. Work involves executive level administrative skills requiring the ability to adapt and apply broad policy and direction to a variety of frequent complex situations. High level of independent judgment, resourcefulness, creativeness, initiative, and public relations skills are required. Errors are hard to detect or correct with very large loss potential. Act on behalf of the Associate Vice President for Information Resources (CIO) in absence.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:
Strong leadership and project management skills required. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Skilled in the development of policies, operational procedures, and change management. Strong interpersonal skills. Asset and fiscal resources management skills. Attend meetings, workshops, conferences, and training sessions as required.
