EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's Degree. Experience working on research projects and writing grants is highly desired. Experience working with state and community agencies helpful. Or a combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
NATURE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assist Director and higher level Staff Associate in developing and conducting research projects. Performs specialized work in preparing materials for presentation or use with grants and other projects. Assists in writing research grants. Travel to represent the Institute at professional meetings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in planning parts of major research projects and in writing grant applications. Conducts research in collaboration with Institute staff. Collects materials and prepares reports. Devises surveys and questionnaires. Travels to conferences throughout the state to set up the Institute's display and to present work of the Institute to attendees. Performs other related duties as assigned.
