Experience Requirements:
Must have JD plus 18 hours of business courses at either undergraduate or graduate level or significant business experience or business oriented law practice experience. MBA or higher degree is desirable. Ability to do collaborative research with the department.

Sam Houston State is located in historic Huntsville, one quarter of the way from Houston to Dallas, at the boundary between the Piney Woods region of East Texas and the Prairies and Lakes region of Central Texas. The university has an enrollment of approximately 16,400 students and a faculty of 650.
Usual Duties:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business law, research writing; perform research and publish in the business law area and provide service to students, department, college, university, and all other stakeholders.
