KIN 378 : ADM KINESIOLOGY & RECREATION (U) (Two Sections)

The first half of this course is concerned with the organization and administration of physical education and recreation in the public schools; the second half, with the organization, administration, and business management of a high school athletic program. Prerequisite: 18 hours in Kinesiology. Credit 3.

KIN 573 Event and Facility Management.
Practical application of the principles and theory related to planning, organization, and execution of sport and entertainment events will be addressed. Fund raising and charity management will be considered, as will the management of small and large scale facilities and event venues. Site visits and interactions with local sport organizations will also take place.
