The Group Process is casual dress (jeans, shorts or t-shirts allowed). The process will take approximately 4 hours to complete. You will be assigned to a group of candidates that will participate in 4 exercises that will be evaluated by the current residence life staff consisting of resident advisors and resident managers.
Your participation is key during the exercises. You will be evaluated on your ability to interact with others in your group. We are looking for well-rounded individuals who have the ability to lead as well as follow. Knowing when to listen is as important as knowing when to offer suggestions or advise. Not participating in Group Process will result in your removal from selection.
We hope that Group Process is a rewarding and educational experience for you. It is meant to provoke thought, interaction and participation. This session is a way for our staff to see you interact with others. We hope you find it as helpful in learning more about yourself as we do.
