Belvin-Buchanan is an inside-entrance residence hall for females only, located near Austin Hall on the north end of campus. It has a capacity of 209 residents. Two rooms are connected by a bathroom t
o make a suite. Each room has two bunkable beds, a built-in vanity, basic cable television, and an Ethernet port for each resident. Each room also has two movable desks, a chest of drawers, and built-in closets.
While most of the bathrooms on the Belvin wing (east-west) are equipped with both tubs and showers, the bathrooms on the Buchanan wing (north-south) have only showers. The Hall has laundry rooms on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, and a lobby for entertaining and socializing. Belvin-Buchanan Hall also provides premium double (larger) rooms and handicap accessible rooms. The ground floor of Belvin is an Academic Development Area which requires 24 hour "quiet hours". The hall has central heating and air conditioning to provide a comfortable temperature throughout the building.
Belvin-Buchanan Hall and Cafe Belvin is located on the north part of campus.
