Thank you!

This summer will be my last semester at SHSU.  While I am sad to leave our terrific program, I've accepted an outstanding opportunity to join the history department at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I will begin my work in August 2009.  I want to thank the administration and especially my colleagues and students for nine wonderful years at Sam.  I look forward to seeing many of you on future visits to Texas and I hope I'll see some of our best SHSU grads in Southern Miss's outstanding Ph.D. program and Center for the Study of War and Society.
