Computer Account Creation

1. Log-in to SamWeb from www.shsu.edu.
2. Enter your SamID or SSN and PIN into the "Alternate Login." 

NOTE:  Your PIN is communicated to you via US mail. If you have not yet recived your PIN, you may contact the Helpdesk at (936) 294-1951 to have it reset.

Registration

1. Log-in to SamWeb from www.shsu.edu
2. Click on "Student Records"
3. Click on "Registration"
4. Select Semester and Year and click "Submit"
5. Select courses by entering the Course Identification (CID) number.

SHSU E-mail (Exchange Mail)

1. Visit Exchange Mail from www.shsu.edu
2. Log in using your Username and Password (Communicated during Computer Account Creation)

NOTE:  Official University e-mail correspondence will be sent to the assigned SHSU e-mail address.  You have the option of checking your SHSU e-mail here or forwarding it to another account.

Distance Leaning eCourse*

1. Log-in to eCourse from www.shsu.edu by clicking on "SHSUOnline"
2. Enter your User ID (SHSU Username) and Password and click "Go to Class."  Your password will be communicated through your SHSU e-mail upon registration.
3. Click on the "MyCourse" tab, then click the course title.

* This step is only for those students enrolled in a distance learning course.
