Description
The Master of Science in Agriculture includes coursework in research methods, statistics, and all major disciplines in agriculture. Students have the opportunity to specialize within a field of agriculture if they choose or they can select the option that allows for certification in Agricultural Sciences and Technology, which allows them the opportunity to teach in public schools of Texas. Students are strongly encouraged to complete an internship, and for those wishing to pursue further graduate studies, a thesis option is available.

- Official transcript from the baccalaureate degree granting institution
- An undergraduate degree in agriculture, industrial technology, technology or a related field is necessary.
- Students without an acceptable background in agriculture or technology will be required to complete 12 hours of undergraduate stem work and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Two recommendation letters from faculty in the applicant's undergraduate major
- Official GRE scores
