Required Materials and Supplies

In an online course such as this one, you will not have at your disposal some of the items available to those taking an on-campus lab. As a result, you will find that this course is going to be somewhat more expensive than your average class.

You will need to purchase and have at your disposal the following.

Book:  Netoff, Dennis I. Weather and Climate. START Group, most recent edition. (available at campus bookstores).
Book:  Goode's World Atlas. Rand McNally. You may use an older edition. Check the internet.
Book:  While there is no textbook for this class, a CD entitled eWeather & Climate by Gillespie, Netoff and Tiller, is included with the Lab Manual for this class.

In addition, some of the Labs will require that you perform at-home experiments. Please be sure you have access to the necessary items before you begin work on a Lab that requires such materials.
