Dr. Nenninger earned his PhD in finance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and MBA and BSBA degrees from Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Prior to joining Sam Houston State in the Summer of 2009, Dr. Nenninger worked as an Investment Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, and as a loan officer with Boatmen’s National Bank (now Bank of America).  He also taught finance at Southeast Missouri State.

Dr. Nenninger has taught Business Finance, Managerial Finance, Investments, and Financial Institutions and Markets at Sam Houston State.  His research interests include investment performance and mutual fund management.
