Dr. Marguerite P. Joyce is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Business and Finance at Sam Houston State University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO and her Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH in Business Education; she received her doctorate in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction (with business emphasis) from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE.
Dr. Joyce is well published and has authored a college-level business communication textbook and has made numerous presentations at regional, state, national, and international professional conferences. She is a former Director-at-Large in the Association for Business Communication.
Additionally, Dr. Joyce received an award for Outstanding Teaching, Publications, and Community Service as well as an Award for Outstanding Service to Students at former universities.
She recently received funding for a Professional Enhancement Grant Award from Sam Houston State University in May 2008 and an Award for Research from The Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines in 2010.
