The Department of Foreign Languages will accept no course grade below a "C" as fulfilling the language requirement prerequisite for continuing in the course progression in any of the languages, either for transfer students or for resident students. The Department requires a Department-generated placement test for all students who receive transfer credit and who enroll for the first time in Department courses at SHSU.
